Refund &
cancellation.

Plain-English version: cancel anytime. If we fail to seat you in your first 30 days, you get every rupee back. Beyond that, we don't refund used cycles — but you keep what you've paid for.

1.

Cancellation

  • ·You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard at /me/<token>.
  • ·Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You retain access (and invitations) until that cycle ends.
  • ·We do not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of a cycle you have already paid for. You've effectively pre-paid for invitations whether or not you use them.
  • ·After cancellation, your record stays active for 24 months in case you want to return — see /privacy for retention. After that, we delete it.

First-30-day money-back guarantee

If you subscribe and we don't seat you at any event in your first 30 days, you get a full refund. No questions asked. This covers the operational risk of being matched into a cluster (e.g. North Delhi) that isn't yet full enough to host a table.

To claim:

  • ·Email hello@oddtables.com from your registered email or WhatsApp.
  • ·We confirm via your dashboard that no invitation was sent in your first 30 days.
  • ·We initiate a Dodo Payments refund within 48 hours.
  • ·Dodo Payments processes the refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

When we will refund (after the first 30 days)

We refund the most recent cycle's payment if any of the following apply:

  • ·We cancelled an event you'd already paid for and couldn't reschedule you within 14 days.
  • ·A duplicate charge occurred due to a payment system error.
  • ·You were charged after cancellation due to a system error on our side.
  • ·We terminated your membership without cause (we wouldn't — but if we did, you'd be refunded for the unused portion).

When we will not refund

  • ·You decided to cancel mid-cycle and didn't use all 4 invitations. (The subscription is a flat fee for access, not a per-event payment.)
  • ·You missed an event you had RSVPed yes to. No-shows are tracked — see /terms.
  • ·You found the dinner awkward, the venue too loud, or the people not your type. We curate but we don't guarantee chemistry. Your next group will be different.
  • ·We suspended or terminated your membership for cause (e.g. harassment, repeated no-shows, fake ID).
  • ·The dinner bill at the venue. That's between you and the restaurant.

Refund process + timeline

  1. 01.Email hello@oddtables.com with the subject line 'Refund' and your registered WhatsApp number.
  2. 02.We respond within 1 business day with eligibility confirmation.
  3. 03.If eligible, we initiate the refund via Dodo Payments within 48 hours.
  4. 04.Dodo Payments processes refund to your original payment method (UPI / card / net banking).
  5. 05.Refunds typically reflect in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or UPI provider. Some banks take longer.

Subscription pricing

  • ·Current price: ₹1,999 per calendar month, inclusive of all applicable taxes (currently nil — we are below the GST threshold).
  • ·We reserve the right to revise pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active members. If you object, you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
7.

Disputes + chargebacks

If you dispute a charge directly with your bank (chargeback) without contacting us first, we will:

  • ·Suspend your membership pending resolution.
  • ·Provide Dodo Payments with our service records — RSVP logs, attendance, dashboard activity.
  • ·Honour the chargeback outcome but not re-onboard accounts with prior chargeback history.

Talk to us first — almost every issue resolves faster by email than by chargeback.
